Had to lay down another hour or so after eating again, due to bright vision/rapid heartrate/lightheadedness. Happens at LEAST six out of 10 times after eating since the esophagus surgery a few years ago. That's why I'll probably NEVER be able to go "out" to eat in a restaurant again ( Read more... )

Maybe, just MAYBE, I should have gotten the pharmacy to give me the shingles shot in my RIGHT arm. I have an early appointment with the orthopedic doctor in the morning, who is following up with the pain due to the torn muscles in my left arm. Well, today, I've had pains in the upper parts of BOTH arms, not just the left one, which has a couple torn muscles and worn rotator cuff. Pretty sure the bruised feeling I'm having in my RIGHT arm is most likely a delayed reaction from the diptheria/tetanus/pertussis shot I got Friday.

I'll probably never be able to go out to sit down and eat in a restaurant ever again. Not because of the pandemic, but because of the unpredictable side effects from the esophagus surgery I had a couple years ago. Sometimes get rapid heartbeat, dizziness, blinded vision after eating, but sometimes I'm fine. Doctor says that is normal after that ( Read more... )

Apparently, some of the symptoms of covid-19 are coughing, diarrhea, tiredness, lack of energy, fever, joint pain, runny nose. I WAS going to bed after "Dateline NBC" this evening, but that once or twice a week case of "the dumps" I've been getting since after the surgery decided to hit me right after I laid down. Been to the bathroom five times in the past hour and a half or so. Currently down to LOTS of "air" being released.

I'll need to remember to tell the doctor when I go back on May 10th about how, a few minutes after I finish eating, my heart rate increases a while and I get extra sleepy. Keep forgetting to tell her. Never happened until after the surgery.

For a while after my surgery, the doctor said not to drink any carbonated drinks, because they might cause excess bloating. She didn't give a timespan to avoid them though. I was talking to a nurse last Friday at my last procedure, she said after all this time, I "might" could try drinking one to see if it affected me any ( Read more... )

The new blood pressure meds they replaced the other kind with(which was causing a bad side effect), is, itself, causing a nasty side effect. My feet are seriously swollen. May have to go back to Conway Hospital and rattle their cage. :-(
